"MY NAME IS EVARISTO"

Evaristo sempre e comunque fuori dagli schemi, l’amore per la Ferrari, l’amicizia with Gilles Villeneuve, the countless anecdotes of the locker room. And then the friends of today: from Enrique Iglesias to the comedian Paolo Rossi, Roberto Mancini at Lele Oriali.

"COCA-COLA OF BONINSEGNA"

The book reconstructs the incredible and unique match between Inter Milan and Borussia Moenchengladbach - first knockout round of Champions League 1971/72 -, that of the famous "lot of cans, which saw Roberto Boninsegna just hit a tin can Coca-Cola launched from the stands. The book traces the history of those 40 days through the newspapers of the time, the original documentation provided by the lawyer. Luigi Maria Prisco and the voices and testimonies of the protagonists of the facts of the Inter players, including Roberto Boninsegna, Sandro Mazzola and Ivano Bordon, but also Tarcisio Burgnich, Gianfranco Bedin, Mauro Bellugi. The last chapters describe the "rest" of the European Cup, which saw Inter Milan in the finals, then lost against the European team stronger than that time, the Ajax of Johan Cruijff.

Here is a brief summary of the history, for the Inter fans younger. From 20
October to December 1, 1971 Inter Milan and Borussia Moenchengladbach met three times to determine who should continue on the path of the Cup. That long challenge - between the two teams at that time supplied more players to their national teams - was also the first real chance for revenge for Italy-Germany 4 to 3, the legendary World Cup semi-final played the year before in Mexico. A challenge that lasted 270 minutes in the field and off the field lasted for 40 days, including appeals, responses and rulings for UEFA to change the rules of European football.
In the first game, away to Borussia, after half an hour playing a can of Coca-Cola launched a spectator was struck in the head Boninsegna, KO. Inter appealed to the incident, but met a regulation that Uefa at the time did not provide Victory "at the table" for such cases. It looked like a losing battle to "lack of case law" regarding the liability of the company owner, but there was to deal with Peppino Prisco, who was involved in a legal duel fought on tip-foil, with the result that Geneva Uefa issued a ruling that reversed the its own rules: undo the game (a 7-1 for Borussia surreal, sprung from a race that had lost direction after the accident) and ordered it to repeat. Then came the return match, won 4-2 at San Siro by an interaction that appeared transformed all the weapons of the Germans, the futile defense of the Borussia and the decisive third game, played in the historic Olympic Stadium in Berlin, in front of 70,000 spectators. It was a siege of 90 minutes, but Inter managed to resist and win the next round, thanks to the amazing evening of young Ivano Bordon, parried all that night, including a penalty.

support for "A VIDA Pititinga"

'Vida to Pititinga' association is a non-profit organization to a small Brazilian fishing village (Pititinga), 55 km from Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, where a football field with only a door because the other port is the sea, a few houses, huts and a church. Nothing more. There is a welfare center or a community center or means of transport by which at least provide for emergencies. Children do not have a school where to study (The closest is 6 km away). There living on what fish and what nature has to offer: everything you have and they just to survive.
To help children in Brazil does not take much. Just 'take a back' , harness the great potential of sport and support a program that follows the younger children in the growth, development, training. Thanks to sport, the association 'with Vida Pititinga Onlus' ( www.pititinga.org ), founded in October 2004 by President Edna Galvao and comedian Enrico Bertolino, big Inter fan, believes the children's lives over there possa veramente migliorare.

The realization of our projects will, in future, to develop a "model" that can be applied to other areas near the community of Pititinga. To date efforts have focused on education and interventions aimed at educating young people, opening their doors to new opportunities for development and learning.
